Can an IndigoCool solar air conditioner run on solar power alone?
The IndigoCool Hybrid units use solar energy as their primary source via the DC input (50–380 V) and switch automatically to the 220 V grid when solar power is not sufficient. This hybrid operation keeps cooling or heating continuous, day and night.
Which model should I choose for my room?
As a guide, the application areas stated for each model are 12–18 m² (Hybrid 09K, 9000 Btu/h), 16–23 m² (Hybrid 12K, 12000 Btu/h) and 32–47 m² (Hybrid 24K, 24000 Btu/h). Send us your room sizes and location and we will recommend the right unit and PV configuration.
